  5. This is the first released version, so there are no bug fixes over previous
  6. versions.  However, this product used to be called Email Buddy, and has some
  7. enhancements.
  8.  
  9. The major changes to this program from Email Buddy include a sort mode, which
  10. will sort the entries as you type them in, or sort once, depending on your 
  11. preference.  Also, there is a menu command to allow switching a line to all
  12. lower case or all upper case.

  16.                     GENERAL INTRODUCTION TO MEMO BUDDY

  20. Memo Buddy is a shareware application that is for those of us who are 
  21. unfortunate enough to use an application that does not store 
  22. information easily, or for those who just like a handy way of 
  23. keeping text for copying and pasting handy while using *very* little memory.
  24. Basically, Memo Buddy provides for 100 lines of text which you can scroll
  25. through, find what you need, copy and paste, and save for future use.  
  26.  
  27. To use the sort mode feature, hit the sort box in the main dialog.  It will
  28. prompt you to set ascending or descending options, as well as case sensitivity.
  29. Once you click ok, the current memos will be sorted, and now the dialog will
  30. say you are in sort mode.  If you don't wish to continue to have your information
  31. sorted as you enter it, hit the sort box again, and you will se it say Sort...

  33. Anyway, it’s shareware, so you have nothing to lose by trying.  If you like
  34. it, you should send me something - $10 or at least a postcard if you’re on a
  35. real tight budget.

  37. This program was designed to be really simple to use while not hogging up as
  38. much memory as those nasty contact managers.  Therefore, most of the commands
  39. are very intuitive, and strait-forward.

  46. p.s.  Sorry, but this program is for system 7 and greater.  For all you people
  47.       still using system 6...UPGRADE ALREADY!

  55.                       protect your Mac.

  58.                    another port on another computer?  This is for you!
